The On-Site Computer Technician is responsible for providing technical support for in-home and on-site small businesses customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

*       Maintain PCs (including hardware and software), printers, faxes, projectors and scanners

*       Participate in special projects, such as office computer equipment moves, repair/maintenance or printers and PCs, installation and configuration of desktops and laptops

*       Troubleshooting network connectivity, Ethernet, Wireless, encryption, LAN technology

*       Knowledge of Viruses/Trojans and current Antiviral & Anti-Spam Softwares

*       Ability to connect workgroups; user/computers to domains

*       Maintain users/computers in Active Directory Structure

*       Strong knowledge of Windows 9x-XP user interface

*       Strong, proactive customer service

*       Document best practices and processes

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

*       Minimum 1-2 years experience

*       Basic knowledge of PC hardware, Windows 2000, and Windows XP (how to install, troubleshoot)

*       Strong Knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

*       Experience providing remote support & utilizing GHOST for imaging.

*       Computer classes, emphasis towards MCSE certifications, A+/Net+ Certification Preferred

*       College courses towards MIS degree

*       Experience supporting Win200/2003 Active Directory environment       

*       Knowledge of Macintosh computers Basic printer troubleshooting skills

*       Knowledge of Adobe software and Web Browsers

The successful individual will be self starter, capable of multi tasking and will be able to work under minimal supervision. In order to excel in this environment, you must be able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. Those in need of direct supervision will most likely not be successful. The work hours may vary as our business operates 24x7. This position is on contract basis. You will be responsible for reliable transportation with required auto maintenance to client sites.
